Each year Art for Change invites artists to take part in the festival with performances, music, arts activities for kids, site-specific installations and interactive media pieces. To make this event a large success we need committed volunteers to help during the festival.
Volunteers Needed For:
- Event set-up/clean-up
- Making signs
- Art installation
- Kids arts & craft tables
- Information table volunteers
- Festival guides
- Volunteers for film portion of the festival on Saturday evening
The commitment for this position requires at least 2-3 hours.

East Harlem-El Barrio is a neighborhood with a long history of art, from theater to murals, to performance. Hacia Afuera is to be used as a vehicle to reclaim the public space through its gardens, sidewalks, walls and streets and celebrate the rich artistic history of East Harlem.
